Help for Military Personnel

The Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) may offer protection or relief to members of the military, their spouses, partners, and dependents. Find out more information about SCRA here: Questions & Answers for Reservists, Guardsmen and Other Military Personnel.

ServiSolutions appreciates the service of America’s military personnel. That’s why we offer expanded mortgage benefits that go beyond what the SCRA requires.

SCRA benefits
With SCRA benefits you may receive:

  • Foreclosure protection
  • Fee protection
  • A special loan modification program for those facing financial challenges
  • A reduced mortgage interest rate without fees or refinancing: 6% interest rate on SCRA eligible loans
These benefits last for 12 months after the end of Active Duty Orders.

Expanded benefits

In addition to the benefits offered under SCRA, ServiSolutions helps service members by:
  • Providing mortgage assistance to those who can’t keep up with payments
  • Applying foreclosure protection if service members are deployed in a hazardous area or deployed internationally in readiness for military action

Eligibility

If you are an active duty member of the military, including the Reserves or National Guard, and your loan was originated prior to your active duty date, you may be eligible for benefits.

Active Duty Orders

If you have been called to active duty, or are the spouse, partner in civil union, domestic partner, or financial dependent of a person who has been called to active duty, and you have not made us aware of your status, please contact us by calling 1-866-339-2432 or fax your Active Duty Orders to 334-244-9214, Attention: Collections.

In addition, please be aware that prior to seeking a refinance of your existing mortgage loan, you should consult with your legal advisor regarding the potential loss of any benefits you are entitled to under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act or applicable state law.
