Reminders for Washington Borrowers Being Transferred to LoanCare, LLC

If you have recently received a Goodbye Letter advising your loan is being transferred, here is important information regarding the new servicer -- LoanCare LLC, servicing on behalf of Lakeview Loan Servicing LLC.

Please reference your Goodbye Letter for the effective date of the servicing transfer.

Important Reminders

Automatic drafts will NOT be transferred to the new servicer. Should you wish to re-establish auto draft, you will need to restart the program with LoanCare. They will be providing you more information shortly.

  1. LoanCare does not offer a bi-weekly payment plan.
  2. Customers can make additional payments online.
  3. Borrowers with email addresses will get 4 emails from LoanCare. 14 days, 7 days and 1 day prior to transfer, as well as shortly after transfer.

FAQs

Why is my loan being transferred? Did I do something wrong?
No, you have done nothing wrong. It was a business decision to transfer the servicing of your mortgage. ServiSolutions formerly served as the Master Servicer for the Washington State Housing Finance Commission’s affordable housing program, but is no longer serving in that regard.

What will change about my mortgage?
The terms and conditions of your deed of trust and note will remain the same.

Will the new servicer continue to auto draft my payments?
No, the auto draft will discontinue, and you will need to restart auto draft with your new servicer.

Why didn’t someone let me know?
You should have received a Goodbye Letter dated September 13, 2019, as well as a welcome letter from LoanCare LLC, on behalf of Lakeview Loan Servicing LLC.

I did not know that my loan was transferring? Will I be assessed a late charge?
Within the first 60 days of transfer you will not be assessed a late charge. This does NOT mean that you can go 60 days without making payments.  Payments must be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of your note.

Will the new servicer pay my taxes and insurance?
If your account was escrowed the new loan servicer will establish an escrow account and continue to pay taxes and insurance on your behalf.

Did you notify my insurance carrier?
Yes, we have notified your insurance carrier in writing of the mortgagee change. 

I have bill pay with my bank. What should I do?
Please provide your bank with the new servicer payment information.

Will the new company continue to raise my payments like you did? 
Payment amounts are subject to changes within your escrow. The servicer will continue to perform an annual escrow analysis as is required by federal regulation. The schedule for the analysis may not be the same as ServiSolutions’ schedule.        

I want my loan to stay with ServiSolutions who can I talk to about this?
Unfortunately, the business decision has been made to transfer the servicing of your mortgage loan. ServiSolutions cannot remain your servicer. We appreciate the opportunity to have serviced your loan.

Will my loan number be the same?
Your loan number will change and this new information will be provided to you within the welcome letter from LoanCare LLC.

I mailed my payment to you what will happened with that payment?
If the payment arrives after the transfer date, ServiSolutions will endorse and forward any payments received to the new servicer. All other payments should be directed to your new servicer.

What if I have questions prior to the transfer?
